a) Shell, conical reducer section(conical reducer section shall also meet the requirements of Appendix 1-5 and/or 1-8)

b) Dished heads, conical heads

c) Compensation of openings(large openings see also App. 1-7 or 1-10)

d) Flanges (App. 2 or ASME B16.5)

e) Covers, flat heads

f)  Bolts

g) Tube sheets: applicability and use od UHX(otherwise, see also TEMA)

h) Expansion joint (see also EJMA)

i)  Nozzle attachment welds(allowable stresses in welds)

j)  External pressure

k) Jacketed vessel Appendix 9

l)  loadings e.g. vessel supports

m) shell sections and heads extreme fibre elongation
