ASME Design Calculation Programs

Looking for a computer program to design your pressure vessels / boilers according to the ASME Code? Or do you need assistance with the design calculation on the requirements British Standard, Australian Standard, AD 2000 or other international Codes and Standards? Problems with seismic / wind loads according to UBC, IBC and external nozzle loads?

Here at ONE/TÜV/BV we use a variety of design calculating programs to make sure your products meet the most demanding specifications including seismic loads and wind loads. 

Here is a short description of some design calculation programs available on the market. This listing is neither nor complete does it include any recommendation or rating of the programs listed. Only some of these programs are used at ONE/TÜV/BV.

  • Compress (Codeware)
    Codes and Standards according to ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 and 2, Heat Exchangers according to UHX and TEMA, seismic / wind loads according to IBC, UBC and some other standards, saddle and legs support. Section II allowables in US-Customary and SI-Units available. Integrated FEA module and WRC for external nozzle Loads.

 

  • DIMY
    Codes and Standards according to ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1, AD2000, EN 13445, EJMA, TEMA, various modules for design of piping (B31.3, B31.1).

 

  • Ohmtech
    Codes and Standards according to ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1, EN13445, PD5500 (British Code),  EN1591/EN13445 Annex G, AD 2000, EN13480, TBK2, TKN.

 

  • PV Elite
    Codes and Standards according to ASME Code Section VIII, Division 1 and 2 including UHX, EN13445, PD5500 (British Code), WRC, Wind ans Seisnic Analysis according to various standards, including vessel support design. The software inter with other software packages for finite element analysis. Individual component analysis possible.

 

  • Sant' Ambrogio
    Codes and Standards according to ASME Code Section VIII Division 1 and 2, TEMA, EJMA, WRC, EN13445 with Annex G / GA, AD2000, rectangular vessels, seismic / wind loads for towers and horizontal vessels
