45 mm thk dish end normalizeing

dear sir,

i have one confusion that i have two dish end thickness is 45 mm thk & diameter is 1000. For making of dish end we done 1st stage normalizing as per code. On my job(vessel) PWHT is there. If we do not done normalizing at 2nd stage & go direct PWHT of hole vessel with dish end?
can we done this or not give me advise

Your question is unclear as there is no requirement of Normalizing for heads in the code.

Can you clarify what you mean by 1st stage and 2nd stage normalizing, believe by 1st stage you mean normalizing of plate and 2nd stage, normalizing of formed heads.

Refer to USC 79 for heat treatment requirements for formed heads.
