I met a puzzle need your help!!!

Now the situation is :the T-type joint is partial penetration weld,one base material has the impact repuirement and the other has not the impact requirement(because the thickness is less than 16mm which is exempted per the ASME Section NF)

and the question is :
Does the weld have the impact requirement?

Try NF-4430!

As a general rule of thumb, all WPS used on materials requiring impact test, shall be qualified with impacts.
This means the supplementary essential variables are becoming essential and the qualification is becomming real fun.
Not this sissy stuff without impacts.
