Dear Friends
Hope some one shine some light
Due to shortage of welders, I intend to use 3G/4G(AWS D1.1 ) Welder to weld Pipe Deck / Bulkheard Penetrations inclisive of Fillet/Full Penetration weld connection to pipe x reinforcement plate.
If it is allowed by code(s), pls guide to ref. section in ASME IX / AWS D1.1

please refer QW-303.1 and table QW-461.9.This will guide you to use your available 3G/4G welder on what diamter pipe , position and fillet welds.
