Can we use ISO V impact tested material insteated of Charpy V impact test for ASME Sec VIII Div 1 Code vessels.
Appreciating early replies.

UG-84(b) Test Procedures
UG-84(b)(1) Impact test procedures and apparatus shall conform to the applicable paragraphs of SA-370 or ISO 148 (Parts 1, 2, and 3).

That means ISO-impact test is permitted, provided the other requirements of UG-84 are met.
