Dear all
I have a query on analysis of Sec VIII Div.1 (2007 addenda 2009)stamped equipment for UG-22 loadings. Say we have thermal transient loadings for the equipment. These loadings shall be considered as per UG-22.
However the code does not say how to consider the same. I understand that Div.1 (2007 addenda 2009) does not say that we shall use Sec VIII Div.2 (2007 addenda 2009).

As I understand that we can demonstrate by any method acceptable to AI and client. My query is can I analyse as per ASME Sec VIII Div.2 (2004 code) if it is acceptable to AI and client.
