New Fresh U stamp Equipment damaged during Trasnport need little bit coldworking and Changing of Scewed Plugs in Aircooled Heat exchanger.
My Q is does it required to repair under R stamp now.

Equipment is in Customer's refinery.
Does code specify something in NBIC or anywhere?

Niraj,
You can do it without R stamp by getting it back to the factory, removing the nameplate, making what's needed to fix it, giving it a new serial number and a new MDR, a new AI-witnessed hydrotest and sending back as a new unit. And, of course, paying custom duties again, if it's overseas. Not an option in most cases, but sometimes there's no other way...
