As per ASME VIII DIV.2 AD 550 (f), if the calculated value exceeds the limits, all the reinforcement area in the nozzle wall and weldment can not be used???

Is any exemption of that? Anybody met this problem before?

I did not meet this problem before, but the paragraph does not leave any doubt: Read the last sentence and the Note.
