Is Corrossion Resistance Test required to qualify a corrossion resistance WPS as per Section IX ?

For example, in Alloy 825 overlay on ASTM A 516 Gr. 70 Plate, as per QW-453, DP Test, Side bend test and chemical analyysis test is required.

If it is required then where it is mentioned ? If not required then how can we ensure that the overlay is corrossion resistant ?

ASME Sec IX does not specify any corrosion tests for PQR, unless your contract/client spec specifies, for e.g when IGC is requested on PQR, it will be specified in the contract spec.
