Question: For Section VIII, Division 1 construction, 10-12 of Appendix 10 Quality Control System requires that "the manufacturer shall have a system for the calibration of examination, measuring and test equipment used ..." Is traceability to a national standard required?

Hi Javed,

I think there is traceability.
For the review of ISO9001, manufacturers shall have the annual reports for the calibration of examination,measuring and test equipment used. And all these reports in China must be approved and done by the authority organization.
After the approval and done by the authority organization, they will submit these reports and label the test equipments, and these documents will be very vital for inspection and examination for a approved manufacturer.
