I am new to this forum. I am a BSc Mechanical Engineer and currently doing job in KSA. My design experience comprises of 5 years in total.

I am having a little difficulty regarding the Automatic determination of RT Type in COMPRESS. I have set all the Joint radiography (for Shell, Nozzles & Flange) as Full UW-11(a) Type 1, even than its showing RT4 in Setting Summary report.

Please note that the version of COMPRESS is 7130.

Please refer to UG-116 & UW 11,
RT1 does not include butt welds exempted under UW-11(a)(4) where as RT4 does.
Design calculations would not be affected.You may verify by inputting RT1 manually and checking the results.
