Dear Friends,

If 10 mm thick corrossion overlay of SA 789 S31803 is done on 65 mm thick Tube sheet of SA 266 Class 4 material, what should be the size (Thickness) of side bend coupons to qualify the procedure and performance ?

I have seen a WPS, PQR with 12 mm thick Side bend coupons. Is it right as per Section IX ?, Because as per Section IX, QW 462.2, it should be minimum 19 mm.
