Dear All Members,

I have horizontal vessel support by 2 Saddle(Using pipe 4" Schedule Pipe). First how to calculate the Cross sectional Area of pipe and how to check that stress on pipe is ok or not. Example of force is 30,000N. What is formula to calculate?

Could anyone assist me regarding this matter.
