From the Question asked by Mr.Richard Hadlee, I have a doubt in my process. Since my welders have started using Dia 4mm electrode in Structural Beam of size HEB140 which is of flange thickness 11.7mm & web thickness 20mm a lot of undercut is arising. Are we using wrong diameter of electrode for the process.

Either drop down in rod dia size or turn down amperage. Or if undercut is only showing up on one toe and not the other weld toe, the welder may have the wrong angle of his rod to plate.
