Dear Friends,
one company performed RT on vessel(DN900&DN1200,with manway) with double wall technique(one wall viewing),but i saw the tybe B seams on film was straight, i can not find the diameter limit for such double-wall, but i questioned the NDE guy was justfying his pen mistake.
pls tell me if it is possible to use double wall technique like this situation or is there some requirements for the diamter limitation. expecting for your reply, thanks!

Fred,
There are no restrictions - if the code (or spec) required densities and sensitivities are achieved it can be shot DWSI or panoramic.
I would be concerned if they are charging you by hour - if there is a manway they should be able to shoot panoramic and reduce the time required significantly,
Regards,
BB
