Dear All,

I have designed an elliptical head with cold forming process according to ASME VIII Div.1; I'm not able to determinate if is necessary a postfabbrication heat treatment due to straining.
In UHA-44 I can found how determinate the forming strains but (in table UHA-44) it's not indicated the limit for my material (SA-240-410S).

Andrea,
It's not austenitic, so it does not work-harden. Hence, no postforming HT requirement.
