 Post subject: FCAW welder

As per Table QW-416, the table does not mention the FCAW process, will this mean that FCAW welder is also qualified for GMAW process, please advise, since the Table is not mentioning welding process as essential variables

FCAW is a GMAW process.

As I understood, the difference between FCAW and GMAW is the electrode, for WPQ. Please refer to QW-355, you can understand better.

Have a look at the top of page where GMAW is listed.(QW 416)
The small 2 next to GMAW is Note 2.
Have a look at Note 2 at bottom of page.

(2) Flux-cored arc welding as shown in QW-355, with or without additional shielding from an externally supplied gas or gas mixture, is included.
