In UG-34 (c) (2) there is a formula - (2). In this case where to take meaning of parameter >
E - joint efficiency?

There conversation is conducted about welded details.
In my case are fixed by bolts. As shown in Fig. UG - 34 (j) and (k)
How to be in this case if conversation not about welding?

UW 12 (d)- Seamless vessel sections or heads shall be considered equivalent to welded parts of the same geometry in which all Category A welds are Type No.1. For calculations involving circumferential stress in seamless vessel sections or for thickness of seamless heads,E = 1.0

It is important to understand that weld joint efficiency refers to welded head (like a crown and petal); if the head is a single piece, E=1 is to be used
