Dear Sir,

Secondly, I am interested in knowing that how can we calculate the min allowed distance to place first baffle (front end baffle) from inlet nozzle. According to my understanding baffle should not be place under nozzle. How far the first baffle should be from nozzle id? or it can under but should be bit far from nozzle centre line.

Please give some details to easily grasp the concept

If you are mechanical designer you need to ask your HTRI /HTFS design department
Bcoz
It is very much depends on the inward flow -Temp ,Pressure and at out let nozzle required Pressure drop.
