details about 'full RT' is mentioned in para UW-11 of Section VIII DIV 1.

I have not found similar description of 'full RT' in Section III.

When 'FULL RT' is specified by client in Design Data, what is it's exact meaning for a vessel desisgned as per section III ND?

I believe,
1.it is applicable only to catagory A/B/C/D Butt welds.
2.The cornner welds (non butt welds) are not required to be radiographed.

pl. respond at the earliest

Amol,

Sorry for not proof read your post.

ASME Section III Subsection ND Article ND-5000 address the required NDE for weld. There you can find all the NDE requirements for Cat. A, B, C,and D vessel weld joints in vessels and similar weld joints in pipe, pumps and valves.

Good luck,
