Dear Friends
Pls advise if SFA-5.28-ER80S-Ni1 approved by DNV. Hope somebody refer to reliable site to seach for Type Approval Certification

Hi,

an approval of consumable by a third party e.g. by DNV, LR, TUV has nothing to do with ASME BPVC. In addition such approvals are valid only for a manufacturer. This means an approval is given for a filler metal brand name only. Go to one of the filler manufacturer’s websites or the websites of the third parties and look for these approvals.
