I would like to know if the ASME code take in account the sismic reaction?

For my calculation, I have calculate a bending moment due to the sismic reaction on the Vertical vessel and with the non mandatory APPENDIX L, I have calculate and equivalent thikness.

I have applyed the same method as a bending moment due to the wind.

I'm not sure of my method.

Can you help me?
