Dear Tonyq
For SMAW : E9015 B3, SAW : EB3R+F9P2, GTAW : ER-90S-G can be used. For SAW process, Normally AC power source to be used. Pre-heating temp. = 175 degree celc.(Min) Internal pass temp = 250 degree celc. (Max). pl. note DHT is almost mandatory for SA 387 Gr. 11 Cl.2. DHT can be performed @ 350-400 degree cel. & 1in / hr, with min hodling time 30 min.

Above parameters are based on our personal experience. Parameter may change based on the property requirment, consumable brand, infrastucture available & etc.

Hi Sir,

Thank you for your reply. We use FCAW only, the filler metal used was E81T1-B2M.

TONYQ,

We are facing lack of fusion problems with FCAW, do you also face?
That is why we avoid FCAW on pressure retaining parts rather we use on non-pressure retaining parts.
Are you using on pressure parts?
