Dear all
When we design a vessel as per Sec III NC (class 2), we have option to choose 3200 (alternate rule which invokes stress analysis and fatigue as per appendix and permits to use Table 2A of Sec II part D for allowables).

Other simple route is design as per NC-3300; If we choose NC-3300 route, is it true that we need not evaluate Q (secondary stress intensity) or Fatigue (F)

Table on classification of stress intensity ( NC-3321.2) has included Q and F classifications but no limit such as 3Sm or fatigue evaluation is specified under NC-3300.

Can some body clarify whether we have to evalaute Q and F or not please
