In ASME Sec. V Art. 7 is mentioned that, for longitudinal or circular magnetization direct or rectified (half wave or full wave rectified) shall be used. Is there a way out to use alternate current, which is commonly used in Europe, instead of direct or rectified current?. Thanks for your help.
