Our readers really should know but we see it in post after post here:
NOTHING IS BUILT OR CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASME IX RULES!
ALSO, NOTHING IS INSPECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASME IX RULES EXCEPT THOSE COUPONS FOR QUALIFICATION OF PROCEDURES OR PERSONNEL!
All ASME Codes refer to ASME IX for qualification of welding and brazing procedures and welders and brazers. (These terms are used generically and is intended to also apply to bonders and welding operators).
Each and every ASME Code specifies it's own criteria for construction and may also impose additional requirements to those of ASME IX or modify those requirements of ASME IX or even DELETE those requirements of ASME IX.
I HOPE THIS POST IS READ BY THOUSANDS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW TO IMPLEMENT ASME RULES!
