The plate manufacturer has to mark the plate. marking is done by ink. If you receive plate with incomplete marking, you have to call the plate manufacturer and ask he comes or appoints you to do the marking on his behalf as a resolution of NCR issued by you.

In case you already have manufacturers marking on the plate and question is for stamp transfer then you can transfer the marking (heat and plate number) either by punching or using ink based on your procedure.
This stamp transfer can be witnessed either by a third party or your own QA/QC group based on QA/ QC procedure laid down by customer.

Such a marking transfer should also be written in your Quality Control Manual, then you will follow these written instructions, see the last sentence of paragraph 10-6 in Appendix 10 of Section VIII-1.
See also UG-77.

If you are a certified ISO 9001 company, normally your company should have the Identification & Traceability procedure. Please refer to it. In the procedure it should stated on how to trace your material, product, etc. Traceability is part of ISO 9001 requirement.

I agree with sanjeev_shukla70's answer. It is up to the client requirement whether they want to witness or not. The heat no. transfer can be done by using punching letter (normally practice).

My issue is solve now , we just purchase one etching stamping machin which mark on plate or any shape on its upper layer up to 1 micron and think so its usefull for me and who working in small scall and where punching is not allowed .

if any one need such machin i we give information about this

in punching anyone can punch but for this type of marking machin we can control or QC also controll the process ( becouse print requiresd for it)
