Hello

Design Conditions:
Design Temperature: 65 C/-46 C
Design Pressure : 20 Kg/cm2 and Full Vacume
Service: Propane

Please suggest whether we can use SA 516 Gr 55 or not.
Please suggest any other cost effective material.

yes refer table A1.15 of SA20
but most commnly used are SA 516 Gr60/70, u can eve select from SA537

You can use all materials listed in the Construction Code (e.g. UCS-23) as cold as you want.
Only impact testing may be required in accordance with UG-20, UG-84 and UCS-66 thru 68.

When resistance to brittle fracture can be demonstrated, use is allowed.
