Hi,

NB-4426.1 is about Thickness of Weld Reinforcement for Vessels, Pumps, and Valves
NB-4426.2 is about Thickness of Weld Reinforcement for Piping.

We are centrifugal pumps manufacture with casting casing pumps on which we have some welding (piping , drain, vent and flushing)

What § we have to applied for welds connection on casing?
Is there a definition of piping in ASME code?

The limits and boundaries are mandatory contents of your design spec, see NCA-3250.
Also you find some help in NB-1000 for the limits and boundaries.

In case of weld designation, I suggest to consult the design spec, and consider the welds that are part of the pump as such.
