Hi.everyone.

Our company (China First Heavy Industries) has two manufactuing locations, one in Qiqihar for Material supply (MO) and the other in Dalian for nuclear components manufacturing (N,NPT). Each location has a seperate ASME Quality System.

We encountered a problem concerning material supply.

if it is different company, we can make purchase order for forging supply, but it is the same company, can we make the purchase order with Buyer and Seller the same?

Thanks and regards

Heming,

This is something that should be addressed in your N-stamp QA Program, how to purchase from your other location.
If it is not addressed, I suggest you proceed just like purchasing from another company.
Your ANIS should be able to comment.

I know this is old, but this is my thoughts:

If each holds a separate certificate, each with a unique address, then the Society recognizes you as two different companies. The N/NPT company should add the MO to their approved supplier list and issue a purchase order to said company (or some other work instruction). As a company with multiple locations and stamps, they all have to be described in the same QA Manual and on one certificate in order for it to be considered the same company.
