Why PWHT for P no.1 Gr.4 Matl. not required as per ASME sec.VIII div.1 Table UCS 56 ?

in ASME IX Ed. 2007, Add. 2008 are only 6 materials assigned to P1 Gr. 4 (see Appendix D):
SA-656 Type 3 Gr 80
SA-656 Type 7 Gr 80
SA-724 Gr. A
SA-724 Gr. B
SA-724 Gr. C
SA-812 Gr. 80.
But all these materials are not permitted in the scope of ASME VIII/1 for pressure retaining parts (see UCS-5(a) with reference to table UCS-23). Therefore you get no information for fabrication about these materials.

SA-724 Gr. A, B and C are covered in ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 under Part UHT with a PWHT requirement for SA-724 Gr. C. See UHT-56 and Table UHT-56.
