Hello,

I'm looking for help with two points of the french nuclear power requirements:

S7433 - the calibration of the measuring instruments used for setting electric parameters...
What intruments are meant here??

S7443 - For automatic equipment, the voltage is checked at the arc, or as clos as possiblle to it. In this case, the difference between the voltage measured an the voltage at the arc shall be evaluated???? :?:
I have no idea what is meant here.

If anybody could help would be great.

Regards,

TamTom

Tamtom,
I am presuming the instruments are a voltmeter / ammeter to set your welding parameters. These must be calibrated.

The voltage at the welding machine may be totally different than the voltage at the weld. Long leads can cause a voltage drop so both readings must be taken and evaluated.

Hope that helps,
Regards,
BB
