I am an asem fresh, I need your guidance and help
I can not find the heating/cooling rate of PWHT in accordance with ASME section 1(2010) which is described heated /cool slowly only, how can I do?
and the thermocouple how to placement in accordance with ASME section 1?

PW-39 is the master paragraph of PWHT in Section I, second para. of PW-39 reads about the heating and the cooling rates as you noted, it does not give the numerical values for heating and cooling rates, please refer to 2nd para. of the Preamble.The location of the thermocouples is also not discussed in Section I, you are correct.
The rates of heating and cooling are given in UCS-56,
UNF(56), UHT-(56), UHA-32, you may use these rates if this is acceptable to your AI, check also your Quality Control Manual.
