Sectin I safety valves

Dear ALL:
The boiler is designed and fabricate according to ASME Section I 2007 edition & 09 addenda. is it permitted that use the safety valve which was made at 2003 with ASME B16.34:1998 ?

if your PRV still meets all requirements of PG-67 to PG-73, then you can use with the acceptance of your AI. Further you can find the acceptable edition of ASME B16.34 for Section I construction in Table A-360(In the Non-Mandatory Appendix A of Section I), if your edition is not acceptable to Table A-360, still you can use if your valve meets all requirements of acceptable edition of B16.34. Consult your AI in this matter, that is a must.

Safety valves shall be stamped "V" constructed in accordance with Sect.I
