Hi,

Can anybody recommend a design calculation program for Section IV Heating Boilers? We want to make some calculations and even an excel sheet would be helpful.
I just can not believe there is nothing available.

Well... Mathcad, or much cheaper Derive. In my case, most frequently used to calculate the bursting test pressure though :-)
I don't suppose there's something specialized. In times of steam locomotives, they surely didn't use computers for strength calculations. I still have an old slide-rule, by the way.
