Qn 1. While finding out the transfer correction in UT, if the calibration block thickness and job thickness are different is it neccessary to keep the distance between the transmitting probe & receiving probe same as used in calibration block (while using in job also?) OR just to get the 80% FSH signal in job and I have to note the dB?
Qn 2. While doing UT where it is required to plot the beam spread? is there horizontal beam spread & vertical beam spread? Are they different from horizontal & vertical lineraity? Where can I find the explantion regarding beam spread plotting and its usage?
