I need your advice. We are procuring a Pressure Vessel from our Vendor having Sec VIII Div-2 code. Div-2 ask for UDS. We have reviewed the content of UDS (in cl 2.2.2 of ASME VIII Div-2) but all these information are already provided by us in our Mechanical datasheet/ Material Requisition and other Engineering specification sent to Vendor. In this case, do we need to prepare another separate document (called as UDS, repeating the inputs) or all documents already provided to them may be called as UDS.

All these information shall be included in a single document or linked together with a facing page quoting all the documents with page control.
This document is the UDS. The UDS shall be certified by one or more PE (Professional Engineer) as required in Div.2.

additionally, please note all element of part-2 para. 2.2 shall be addressed in UDS.
also, pl. include following additional point while preparing certificate of compliance of UDS. Add equipment name & tag number in UDS certification.
