What is the standard procedure for the vacuum test and the acceptance criterea.
Kindly help urgent.

AS far as I know there is no vacuum test in Sect. VIII Div.1.
maybe you mean vacuum test requested by the Client on vessels intended to operate in very high vacuum conditions like e.g. sterilizers in pharmaceutical industry. In this case the vessel shall be perfectly clean inside, a vacuum pump is let to run long enough and the deepest vacuum obtained and recorded. recorded as well the vacuum decay for a given time. According to Client's requirements. This is not a Code required test

there is no standard procedure for vacuum box as per ASME viii Div 1, refer to API 650 11th edition section 8 clause 8.6(vacuum testing)
