Hello.

Usuallly pipes, which are part of vessel nozzles (i.e. which connect flanges at one end and are joined to the vessel at the other end) are
materials like SA-53, SA-106 and so on.

Can they be made from forgings like SA-105?

Yes. We have a lot of nozzles made from forging. E.g. contour forging and self reinforced nozzles.

Further to Mauro's examples, consider long weld neck flanges (LWN). This is a nozzle neck and flange manufactured as a single forging. These are very frequently used. Or you can use a forged neck without an integral flange.
