I am a welding inspector and just start to work with the code asme section 8 d 1

I try to find some information in the code about the parameters for the aceptacion or reject the indications for visual inspection in welds. I mean
about the undercut but this no address anything about it.

would you like help my with that topic.

Read UW-35(b): you may apply that reduction in thickness as the undercut.
Read all Section UW: there is a lot of requirements for visual inspection
