Dear All

We Have done Welder Qualification For 3 G positionusing Uphill Technique butnow we using Both Uphill And Downhill Technique
my Ques is.....
1) Is require Requalified Procedure
2) Is it Required requalify welder
3) what about Heat Input
4) where we get this information

What welding process(es) you used during qualification?
Regarding your question no. 4, all the information you need is available in Section IX if you have followed it as a qualification standard.
Change in Uphill or downhill progression is not essential variable for procedure qualification but are essential variable for performance qualification for SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and PAW.
Heat input is not essential variable for performance qualification but an increase in heat input is essential variable for procedure qualification when impact tests are required.
