What is the filler wire for welding Brazed aluminium plate to SS 304L??

You cannot weld Alu to SS. You may braze, maybe, but I am not sure.

Mauro,

good News, you can weld Alu to SS.

A Section IX Code case allows the use of Explosion "welding" (some call it bonding) of these materials. The resulting "sandwich plate" will then be machined to a ring-shaped transition piece for connecting pipes from the two materials.

OK, I did not consider explosion welding, a real welding. Apart this the weld is done between similar material. This is a common practice in ships construction (passenger ships and yachts): the superstructure, bulky and high, is constructed in aluminium and welded to the shell through the sandwich steel (welded to shell) and aluminium (welded to superstructure).
