Gonzaga stated that the Construction Code does not specify the dimensions that you stated.

In addition to that, Section IX shall be considered for welding qualification. when preparing the WPS, the groove preparation and root gap shall be specified, and considered for welding the test coupon. Most welding processes are listing the prep as nonessential variables, however they shall still be listed.
