2" pipe of SS 321 is connected to 18" process gas absorber, SS 321. Presently 2" pipe may be changed to SS 304L or SS 316. Will there be any welding issues. If yes, then please guide me through proper procedure.

I can't imagine any issues, all materials are P8, Gr. 1 so depends on how your WPS is written and if your client requires specific alloy limitations.
