Dear All.
I would appreciate it so much your help me, I no understad ASME section VIII.
Why UW-27 no cover FCAW proces?
I have welded penstock for hydroelectric proyect with Q&T steel.
Is possible usually FCAW.

FCAW is considered to be under the GMAW process, and as such it is included. See definition of FCAW in QX-492 in ASME Section IX.
Also QW-255 is ASME Section IX is referring to the fact that GMAW and FCAW are considered as the same process.
