Hi All,

Appreciate if someone can explain the meaning of "in-service". Is it after A.I signed off the MDR? Thank you in advance

Regards

"Inservice" means that the pressure vessel/boiler is operating. Naturally after signing the MDR and stamping. Thus "inservice inspection" will be performed at the user´s site in opposite to the inspection the AI carries out during construction at the manufacturer´s shop.

…In in-service inspection is carried out after some time of operation & its is periodic during the time of the inspection the health of presser vessel equipment..etc is checked and and accordingly the life and pressure of operation is recommended by regulatory body /RP and it is compulsory for high pressure and temp zone .
And definitely after by AI & MDR
