Can you advice me where can I take AI preparation course before joining AI course A in National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, Columbus, Ohio ? Please advice.

You must be employed by a recognized insurance company to function as an AI Authorized Inspector.

I know this is a rather old post, nevertheless;

Anyone can attend the National Board two week New Construction "A" course in Columbus Ohio and write the exam at the end. You then have three years (changing to two years) to get employed by a Authorized Inspection Agency or Jurisdiction in order to obtain the Commission from the National Board, which is only issued to employees of these.

As for other preparatory courses prior to the above two week course, there are a few around but I don't know which ones are any good. I found the two weeks at the National Board to be more than enough, if you can find your way around the various sections of the code.
