We have a WPS supported by a PQR test weld which is 1 time PWHTed. There is a repair in ASME U stamp vessel after SR. Can I use the WPS (1 time PWHT) to attend the repair? is there any code violation? Or Is it a 2 time PWHted WPS required for this repair? (Material- CS; vessel service-lethal; No impact requirement)

No Code violation. Time of (aggregated = no matter if in one or more cycles) is required at least 80% of the total time ONLY when impact tested. If not impact tested, no restriction on number or duration of the PWHT (of the same type, assumed to be 595 - 630 °C). Mauro
