We have a 50 NB swing check valve with body of A351 LCB & seat ring A352 CF8. Temp. is - 45 deg. C.

Vendor has done hardfaceing of seat ring with stellite layer.
The WPS/PQR does not mention impact test requirements.

Please let me know if impact is applicable or not for this.

I do not agree with the easy and fast answer of Raghuram,

please specify the Construction Code requirements for the valve. Is it maybe covered by ASME Section III, or by Section I, or by B31.3, is it a B16.34 Standard valve, or anything else?
Until now we only know the material spec.
